The Training Equipment Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance, repair, presentation, and packaging of all NTT training equipment and the coordination of the building of new training equipment. 


  • Accountable for overall maintenance, repair and Quality Assurance/Control processes of NTT training equipment.
  • Daily inspection and repair of training equipment as it arrives back on NTT’s loading dock after the completion of events. 
  • Assist in managing equipment inventory and repair status, including tracking the location of NTT’s training equipment at all times.
  • Assist in scheduling preventative maintenance and repair of equipment. 
  • Assist in building new training equipment with direction from NTT instructors and Program Managers.
  • Responsible for ordering equipment parts, materials and supplies.
  • Assist in construction and maintenance of equipment crates and pallets.
  • Responsible for maintaining in house Training and Conference Rooms (including but not limited to event set up, event clean up and upkeep.)
  • Maintain general shop supplies.
  • Assist in the local delivery of equipment or vehicle drop off as needed.
  • General facility maintenance and upkeep.
  • Other departmental tasks as required.



  • High school diploma or equivalent with preferred two years minimum experience with the repair and build of electrical and HVAC equipment.


  •  Computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word applications.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to assume ownership of projects through completion.
  • Demonstration of excellent work ethic, must be dependable, flexible and self-starter.
  • Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
  • The position requires the consistent use of a forklift (forklift certification preferred.)
